Title: What irritates me
Post by: celtick1 on December 05, 2017, 04:33:16 PM
If anybody looked over at me today while I was driving past the B/P - Shell gas stations on Randall and Gyorr in South Elgin, they must have thought I was in a hysterical rage or a meltdown. I drove by these stations yesterday and regular gas was $2.09.  Today driving by, it was $2.59! I just don't #@*#ing understand it. .50 in one day!

Always seems to jump huge numbers, but when it goes down...it's 2 or 3 cents at a time.  Can't ever remember gas going down 50 cents in one day

My sentiments exactly. Quick to rise, slow to lower.

I agree with you. I also bothered too. It is not really happening at all.

Historically there is some formula that calculates that... something like it gos up twice as fast as down.

Those two stations race each other down and end up being quite cheap then take a huge jump up!  Then rinse and repeat.... all the time
