I am looking into joining a spinning class.  Can you tell me where they are being held at and how much?  I don't want to  join a health club.

The Y has a couple but its 8 or 10 dollars to do a class.. think that is the same price at the Center as well as LA Fitness

Yes, the Centre does offer Cycling classes. I am a Cycling Instructor there, but recently started a Maternity leave because I am 34 weeks pregnant. I the other instructors are amazing. You should test them all out, we all have very different styles. When you go, arrive a couple minutes early and let them know that you are new to it and they will assist you in properly setting up your bike. If I rememberr correctly, our drop-in rate is $6. You can log onto the Centre's website for an updated schedule. Have fun! You will love it!

Group Fitness Session Fees
Winter Session: Jan. 2-March 31, 2010
Punch Passes are available in the following options:
                       Member Resident Non-Res.
Daily Drop In Fee $7           $7        $8
12 punches/classes $57     $63      $69
24 punches/classes $108  $120     $132
The options listed above will be based on a 3 month
session, coinciding with the Parks and Recreation
Department seasonal program brochure. Expiration
dates will apply. Passes are non-transferable and nonrefundable.
There is no credit or refund for unused
punches. Punches expire at the end of each session and
the punches cannot be transferred to the next session. All
punch passes expire March 31, 2010. Participants must be
at least 14 years of age.
