Was wondering if anyone knew why new members are not being accepted.  I have known a few people trying to get on and were rejected. Anyone?

I'm a new member. It took about 5-6 days for my approval email to come.

I'm a new member too...was rejected on the first try, tweaked my username and was accepted within days the second time around.
