Fire truck at Providence Boathouse last night.
« on: July 22, 2012, 06:19:28 AM »
There was a firetruck at the Providence boathouse last night.  Looks like there was a big blazing fire in one of the garbage cans between the boathouse and pond  (swamp).  Was wondering if anyone heard anymore about it.   Curious if it was set intentionally, etc.

I wish I had called 911 when I heard the fireworks.  There were a LOT of illegal fireworks being blown off on the lake side of the boathouse.

I walked by it on Sunday morning, and saw the damage to the trashcan, and feel we are all blessed that was the only damage.  It was SO close to the boathouse.  With how dry it has been, anything could have caught fire, and WE, the homeowners, would have had to foot the bill.

Hopefully this will not happen again!
