What's up with the burglaries?
« on: September 15, 2012, 07:56:15 AM »
I saw on crimereports.com that there were 2 burglaries (on Cranston & Cookson) over the last couple of days (9/12 - 9/14).  Any one have any details about them?

There have been at least 6 burglaries in the Providence area in the last couple weeks.  Let's all be vigilant.  Lock doors when you're not home.  Don't "advertise" that you're away.  Have lights on in the evening.  Most of all, all of us neighbors need to look out for each other.  If you see something, say something.

@Happy Homeowner
Do you have any details of the burglaries?  Are local kids the suspects, or do they have any other profile for the burglars?  Time of day these occurred?  Any info would be appreciated.

I believe they are car burglaries where the door where left unlocked and loose change and such was taken.
I have not heard of any residential entries of late

If they're just car thefts, I guess I'll hold off buying a gun.  ;)
